Tom Whitworth specializes in providing real estate advisory and financial assistance to public and private clients. Tom brings more than 35 years of real estate experience, advising clients in evaluating the market and financial feasibility of projects and in developing and implementing real estate strategies.
Tom has developed real estate strategies for several national healthcare companies including Independence Health Group, AmeriHealth Caritas, Select Health of South Carolina, Prestige Health of Florida, DermOne and Wills Eye Hospital.
In addition, Tom has advised professional sports franchise clients including the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Pittsburgh Pirates, New York Giants, New York Islanders, Philadelphia Flyers, Washington Capitals, Washington Wizards and the San Antonio Spurs. On the public sector side of stadium/arena finance, Tom’s clients have included the City of Miami, Delaware County (PA) Industrial Development Authority, the City of Elmira, NY, and the Luzerne County (PA) Convention Center Authority.
Previously, Tom spent two years as a senior commercial loan officer at Fidelity Bank and four years as an assistant director of client relations for the Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation (PIDC). His duties at PIDC included structuring and analyzing real estate financing proposals private and public financing programs.
Professional and Community Involvement
A Board member of the Center for Grieving Children, Tom also holds a B.S. degree in Management/Marketing from St. Joseph’s University and a Pennsylvania Real Estate Salespersons License.
