Independence Blue Cross
We were retained by Independence Blue Cross (IBC) to serve as the authorized
agent through the entire sale process for the company’s headquarters (a 45 story office
tower – 810,000 SF building), located at 1901 Market Street in downtown Philadelphia.
IBC owned and occupied the property. IBC’s plan was to sell the building to a third party
and lease the property back for a long term, in order to maximize the sale price.
Washington Sports and Entertainment LP
We assisted in the closing of a $223 million private placement of debt for Washington Sports and Entertainment LP, a partnership that owns the Washington Wizards (formerly the Bullets) and Capitals, the new MCI Center and Washington area Ticket Master outlets.
